Our Acne Control Clarifying Treatment is designed to address mild to moderate acne without the harsh, drying side effects common to many over-the-counter acne products, which often damage the skin barrier and worsen inflammation long-term. The formula contains 2% salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid that penetrates deep into pores to dissolve excess oil, unclog blocked follicles, and reduce inflammation in active blemishes, helping to clear breakouts faster and prevent the formation of post-acne dark spots. We have also added purified, clinical-grade tea tree extract, a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient that targets acne-causing bacteria without causing the dryness and irritation associated with benzoyl peroxide, making it suitable for sensitive skin types that cannot tolerate harsher acne treatments. The formula is free from alcohol, artificial fragrances, and harsh preservatives, so it will not strip the skin of its natural moisture or damage the protective skin barrier, a common cause of persistent acne for many people. To use, apply a thin layer of the treatment directly to clean, dry blemishes or acne-prone areas 1 to 2 times per day, after cleansing and before applying moisturizer.
